PHANTOM III STANDARDISATION of PARTS
Estimated cost of new tools £14.0.0d.
Could be brought on production as soon as new milling cutters are available. (without scrap).
Modification requested by Works increases life of milling cutter from 150 to 200 rods. Each cutter costs £5. not £14. hence actual saving although not shown in factory cost is 1/7d. per set of conn. rods RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}
