Dear Bill,

The Bentley arrived back last night, and I am grateful to you for all the trouble you have taken; it was very kind of you to have the fitting done by your own people.

When they came to wash it they found that the threaded nut which holds the disc on the back wheel was missing; this may have come off while the car was being driven from Derby, or it may be that the fitter omitted to replace it. Could you be so kind as to have enquiries made as to whether it has been left in your shop. If not, I shall have to take steps to acquire another nut.

Yours,
Richard.

W.A. Robotham Esq.,
Derby.
