LONDON TO EDINBURGH R.A.C TRIALS
Extract from the "Autocar" Febry. 5/10
40-HP NEW ENGINE CAR
The car completed a distance of 396½ miles.
The temperature was considerably below freezing during the whole of the trial, and there was a good deal of snow upon the road, especially in Scotland
The car was fitted with a 6-seated touring body.
The weight of the car, including food and refreshments was:-
Front axle ...... 2,462 lbs
Rear " ........ 2,448 "
Total weight....... 4,910 "
Weight of passengers
including driver 706 "
Total running weight 5,616 lbs
