Dear Sirs,
re:- Wings for Bentley Saloon 1-B-3.
We wish to confirm that you will put in hand immediately a set of front wings, with stone shields, for the first Bentley Experimental Saloon, (Black) 1-B-3. The wings should be shaped in the side view, as drawn on the full size drawing, but we would like them to have the latest shape of ear-piece and the Panhard front.
We will ask Derby if they will kindly send you the present wings as soon as they have been removed, as we agree with your suggestion that we might learn something of the cause of the fractures and so improve the design and mounting.
Yours faithfully,
For BENTLEY MOTORS (1931) LTD.
