BOSCH IGNITION COIL. X.4275.

With reference to Mr. Royce's remarks concerning the special design of the Bosch ignition coil, it has occurred to us that you might be opening up this coil for inspection. As we have been running a Bosch ignition with the other coil of the pair, which has gone weak owing, we think, to a partial secondary breakdown, we shall be opening up this one for inspection, after which we will send you all the parts. This is to ask you if you will kindly return the other one, on the probable supposition that you have not already done anything with it.

With regard to the Lucas magneto which you have down there, unless you consider you require this further, I suggest that this be returned at the next convenient opportunity, because we have now a sample of their very much more up-to-date, one, and the one you have is not now representative.
