84057 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/MJ.11.11.32. PEREGRINE TEST IN FRANCE. We have had one or two reports from Hancock, so far the car has not done any endurance running. We have asked him to concentrate on trying out alternative engine mountings which we supplied with the car, because we want as soon as possible to settle on a design for this. We have arranged that Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will go over to France leaving London next the 14th.inst. and he will spend a few days at Chateauroux confirming the results which have been obtained. Whilst he is in France we have asked him to make a special test on the Dubonnet car with the independent wheel suspension. We were very impressed with the short run we had during the Paris Show but there was no opportunity during the Show to make a thorough criticism. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
