For the attention of Mr. N.R. Chandler.

Dear Sirs,

Re:- Phantom lll.

We are in receipt of your letter of the 12th. instant and have noted your remarks in connection with the runout of the last consignment of 6 driven plates supplied for the above model. We feel that the runout must have been upset in transit, as we are confident that the driven plates were despatched from our works well within the limits specified. We are, however, making arrangements for future consignments to be specially packed with a view to overcoming any possible cause of injury.

We cannot fully appreciate your concluding remarks with regard to the two clutches being .250 inch/ounce out of balance, as same would appear to be within the limits specified.

In conclusion we would point out that we are experiencing considerable difficulty with the thermoid facings due to cracking, etc., and feel that it would be to our mutual interest if you could arrange to visit our works as soon as possible. In this connection we shall be pleased to receive your early advice. Thanking you in anticipation, we are,

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
