Fusing currents of the various gauges used in the test having a length of 3 in. and free to the air.

30 S.W.G. 14.9 amperes.
32 S.W.G. 12.3 amperes.
34 S.W.G. 9.9 amperes.
36 S.W.G. 6.6 amperes.

In all cases 30, 32 and 36 S.W.G. was tinned copper and 34 S.W.G. was bare copper wire.
