CAR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

Have you experimentally demonstrated all sorts of faults on the electrical system of our cars, such as accidental earths anywhere, to test efficiency, and the way the fuses blow, even to an earth on the starter motor circuit, and a disconnected battery, and whether we ought to have say a 200 amp. fuse on the battery earth wire, or + (handwritten) to starter motor.

On 12-G.4. the spot light mounted on the windscreen has not an effective earth, and lights up when the R.H. door is closed only, but I think this is not the whole story. I have proved it to be want of reliable frame connection.
