STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS TOOL ROOM Passed: X Description of Part: SPRING FOR SHOCK DAMPER REACTION Origin: Major Reason for Change: To obtain a spring for all conditions of service. Estimated Test Report: Not necessary. The load at 1.208 in. was altered on engine no FX-13. The new spring was found to give the best result under all conditions, but .100 million in/lbs was required with existing spring and this is not a satisfactory production. When to take effect on Cars?: When stock of part no OC479 is used up. What to do with old parts?: Show number of the chassis on which the new part will be fitted. Difference in Cost: Nil.
