8th. September 1937.

Messrs. Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd.,
Titanic Works,
Lincoln.

For the attention of Mr. Edge.

Dear Sirs,

Mr. Edge was enquiring by telephone how the scheme for brakes on a Bentley operated by a vacuum servo is progressing. Unfortunately this experimental work has been delayed by a works reorganization, following a recent change of Management, but the design work is scheduled to start on Tuesday, Sept. 28th.

The wooden model has been of use in deciding the location of the servo, and as soon as the method of fixing is decided we will order a sample servo.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS - ROYCE LTD.
