Dear Sirs,

We thank you for the samples of glazing rubber. The one that we have selected as the most suitable is D.3888. We shall be obliged if you will let us have 25 feet of this. Our official order will follow in due course.

If possible, we should have liked a smooth black, waxed rubber; the sample which we have is rough, and will not present the high degree of finish that we should like to see on the finished car.
