2. the steel. Consequently, as the result of further test, we came to the conclusion that alloys containing some tin and antimong and manganese gave better results both from the "running in" and shortage of oil conditions. The stresses involved in engine running were not reproducable in the Laboratory, however, so that minimum hardness etc. could not be estimated satisfactorily. Hl. H.C. | ||
