BENTLEY 4-LITRE 6-CYL. ENGINE. In view of the fact that we are taking an interest in the overhead inlet exhaust valve engine, we should be very interested to know whether any particular snags have cropped up on the 4-litre Bentley engine of this type, of which we understand about 60 were sold to the public. Leylands made a number of this type of engine experimentally, but abandoned it because of exhaust valve trouble. Has there been any particular exhaust valve trouble on the Bentley unit ?
