BONNET LOCKS.
--------

Mr. Royce has arranged a special bonnet lock, which whilst the key is inserted in the keyhole slot in the centre of the bonnet two locking tongues are provided which operate close to each end.

We have been running one of these on a Phantom car, and one of the SS.{S. Smith} is being prepared in a similar manner in view of R's special interest in this form of lock, which he considers to be an improvement.

A point which we wish to have cleared up is whether all SS.{S. Smith} cars are to be fitted with a lock for the bonnet or will the lock be provided as an extra.
