Rotor resistance = .30 ohm between terminals but windings only .025 ohm. Observations made after warming machine by loading rotor for 1 1/4 hrs. at 30 amperes. Rotor was finally loaded up to 60 amperes approx. for 15 mins. Slip rings were found to get very hot, and connections from coils to slip rings fairly hot. EFC. | ||
