Dear Sirs,

2-way Switch with no 'off' position.

We are writing to enquire of you if you have anything to offer answering the following description:-

a Two-way Switch with no 'off' position, not too bulky for use on the dash of a motor car, capable of being put and remaining either way or on both contacts at the same time. Further, capable of carrying up to 20 amperes on a 12-volt system.
The switch is intended to meet the condition of coupling up either one or another, or both, of two 12-volt batteries to a system, and never actually breaking the circuit of both at the same time, so that there will be practically no tendency to sparking at the break of one contact in changing to the other.

We may explain that this is really of the nature of an enquiry for one switch only to meet the special requirements of one of our clients.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
