X.9650 - EAC: SILENT STARTER GEAR. X7740 Answering your query with reference to the desirability of a fuse for the electrical circuits of the silent starter, it is considered desirable to have an ordinary distribution fuse for the relay circuit, the location of this fuse electrically being between the ammeter and the push button switch, as in the case of No.6. fuse on the Goshawk system providing current for the Klaxon and body lighting. Will not this fuse be provided in the ordinary course of events in the EAC. distribution box ? What is the position now as regards the EAC. distribution box ? I suppose it is being taken that this will be identical with the Goshawk distribution box, in which case that fuse is not provided and a third connection should be taken from the same point where the present Klaxon and body lighting connections are taken. In that case, No.6 fuse will be called upon to serve three purposes and will meet the case sufficiently well. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
