Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/ML.24.3.41. 1373 Instruction to shop 12.B.V. I have not made any comments on 12.B.V. for a long time but there have been various faults which I have noticed. These can be dealt with when we finally bring the car in for attention. 1. There is a very bad vibration on the over-run, which comes through on the brake pedal at 3,000 r.p.m. and over. 2. The sunshine roof leaks copiously. 3. The clutch pedal is up against the boards and emphasizes the engine roughness. 4. The carburation is weak throughout the whole range. 5. The pistons in the carburettors rattle badly when starting up. 6. The ride is now really poor. 7. The brakes are excellent. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
