Phantom III Marine Type Connecting Rods.

Referring to the cracks which have developed in two of the strap type connecting rods at the bolt lugs, we anticipate similar trouble might be experienced on the marine type rods because the amount of material and the shape are much the same.

We send you herewith:-

Lec.4913 showing the strengthening for the blade rod. This consists of forming the lugs without the two nicks for preventing the bolt head from turning, the bolt head being formed with the central tab to prevent rotation.
