This is undoubtedly distinctly more powerful,
and our acceleration, hill climbing, and max. speed, should
satisfy the most enthusiastic motorist, and we ought to get
back some of our old friends who desire plenty of power.
It makes one more satisfied with our old carburetter, whose
other virtues we should like to retain.

Two engine improvements appear in 19-EX engine :

(a) In spite of a cold engine (and poor slow running
before warming up) the car went away extremely well
on opening the throttle, (water cold, water heated
throttle:) we had hoped for this with the altered
induction system.

(b) For no apparent reason this engine does not bang
in the silencer, cutout open, and at all speeds,
governor closing throttle. If this unexpected
improvement is supported by other new specimens it
will be a great advance.

A collection of such items might be useful Sales
matter.

It has occurred to me that we might use up showroom
parts of Phantom, and replace by aero engine and 20 HP.
