PHANTOM II (1) Torque reaction vibration. The first line of development is to find why cars made to the same design vary. (2) 48 mile period bus knocks. We are expecting these faults to be considerably reduced with the new slipper wheel which will come on standard in December. (3) Satisfactory exhaust heated carburetter. (4) Permanent cure for silting up of radiators. (5) Reduction of noise from carburetter. We have modified the carburetter which promises a big improvement. (6) Reduction of noise in exhaust. We have a new exhaust system. So far the improvement is not definite. (7) Extra oil to cylinders. (8) Radiator shutters with automatic control. (9) Improvement in clutch. (10) Modification to brake leverage. (11) Alteration of wheel diameter from 21" to 20". This is demanded because of the increase in tyre sizes by the tyre makers. | ||
