| HILLMAN DUDLEY Hillman Fabric Flexible Couplings. Patent method of manufacture adopted after years of experiment and test, has produced the most reliable, the most durable and the strongest construction known. THE COTTON YARN. The fabric is made from the finest long staple Egyptian Cotton Yarn which it is possible to buy. It is manufactured by a method which gives exceptional strength to the yarn, which is then woven by special formation into a complete fabric, giving a strength and resistance to strains and shocks in every direction, which it is impossible to excel. THE COMPLETE COUPLING. The rubber used is of a very fine quality and the adhesion between the plies is superior to any other make. The completely assembled and drilled coupling is true to the finest limits. TESTS. We are constantly testing all materials used and have an expert staff continually testing the accuracy of the finished product. The Sheffield Testing Works Ltd., Report No. 27853, states that a Hillman Fabric Coupling was tested to ascertain the Torque strain to 26,880 inch lbs. which, at 1,000 R.P.M. equals 426 H.P. and showed no sign of fracture (see Facsimile on inside page).
