Wheels skid very easily on wet roads. Gears groan badly when braking. Engine detonations very noticeable. Power good. Throttle does not close from hand quadrant. Engine fires after switching off when hot. Fumes in body when car stopped. Clutch jaggers & does not stop quickly enough for changing speed. vibrations of control levers on steering wheel. Uneven slow speed running due to misfires. Carburation not automatic. Engine appeared rather noisy, especially when car was standing. Consider steering far too stiff. Noise there with no pressure on brake pedal. Brakes fair. Car steers to O.S. when brakes applied. Rattle in exhaust down valve. Starter motor stay wants fixing. Ball bearing noise in clutch. Servo gears rattle on acceleration. New reverse pinion in two pieces with floating bush to L.E.C.1862. Calorised swan neck tail pipe fitted.
