Referring to your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG22524., re the body on the EAC.3. 1000 miles test chassis, we think that such tests as these would be of great value to us in demonstrating to the coachbuilder fundamental points of weakness in body construction, and agree with the suggestion that when-ever possible the coachbuilder should be allowed to see the car, and pass the body as OK. before the trial, and then we together would examine it on its return.

When next EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} is at Barkers he will go over your comments with them, and suggests that much of the wing trouble would be overcome if on the 40/50 we supplied sheet metal wing stays of good design, following Goshawk practice.
