For the attention of C.L.Breeden Esq.

Dear Sirs,

re Steering Wheels.

We have received from our artist in Paris schemes for steering wheels and Controls for the Bentley and Rolls-Royce cars shown on PD.496 and PD.497 respectively. Prints of these schemes are enclosed herewith.

We are very much attracted by the general appearance of both of these designs but we feel that the constructions may be considered too costly and complicated although mechanically it is quite good. We would be glad to receive your views on these designs.

We have been doing more investigation work with a view to producing wheels for Bentley and Rolls-Royce using the Wilmot-Breeden construction and at the same time retaining architecture of the French designs.

On PL.193/4 of which we enclose prints we show our proposal for the Bentley and Rolls-Royce steering wheels, and here again we would welcome very much your comments.

It will be appreciated in all these designs the section of rim is that which was asked for on the model wheel we have made and was taken from an American wheel which was generally approved.

P.T.O.
