With reference to your Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}18/JH.7.11.40, we attach outline drawings of two sets of suitable weight and dimension for the Myth. The "Buick set" was bought at the beginning of the war, and thus we have not been able to test it on a car. However, it has given very good results on the bench. Unfortunately it is not suitable for dash mounting and cannot easily be made so. It has been specially designed for mounting behind a grill on the instrument board of the Buick. The "Philips set" is a standard product giving reliable performance, and is suitable for dash mounting. In normal times we would have got one of the leading radio manufacturers to build a set on the lines of the Buick, but since, for a long time this will be impossible, we must shelve this set for the time being and recommend the Philips set for the small car.
