On bench tests the results were good, the high rate being much improved. On low rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80 ohm, 69.7 ampere-hours were obtained, and all cells shewed positive weakness on the cadmium test. After a full charge a high rate discharge was taken through a constant external resistance of .100 ohm. Initial amperes = 107.0 Time to 104 amperes = 6.7 mins. " " 100 " = 11.5 " " " 90 " = 15.2 " " " 80 " = 16.2 " All cells shewed negative weakness. Both the P & R and Exide cells discharged equally. EFC/G.Johnson. | ||
