-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}19/KW.19.4.34. I understand that the springs that were made for me in Detroit were of straight carbon wire. I do not know whether they were cold wound or not. Certainly I never broke one. I forget the name of the people who made them for me, but Briggs took me to somebody in General Motors Laboratory who put us on to the firm. I understand that the first La{L. A. Archer} Salle will be in England at the end of the month, and I am looking forward with interest to showing it to our people. Kind regards to Mrs. Olley, and I hope that you will manage your trip to England this year. I think after your efforts on Knee Action, General Motors owe you a holiday. Yours sincerely, | ||
