To Wgr. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re L.S.P.II for America.
Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/B24.12.30

Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HP. D/BP.

I attach herewith a revised specification of the chassis as received from Mr.Beaver.

This is a later edition than the one previously sent over by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

I am dealing with the question of additions and deletions so far as they affect the contract price of the chassis.

I understand from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that it is still quite clear that they require "E" as standard.

The existence of this specification seems to render it unnecessary to have separate erection instructions for each chassis.

The only outstanding question at the moment is road springs about which I have written you a separate memo.

If they decide to supply their own then it will not be necessary even to give the weights of bodies for each chassis from a springing point of view.

If any point is not clear, please let me know. [text struck through]
