Copies sent to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1113 Cricklewood. Oct. 7th, 1936. Phantom II: Two cars have been in lately, one yesterday with brake trouble. The adjusting screw for the pilot shoe had worked out and jammed between the lining and the drum. The point raised is Cricklewood have noted that these adjusting screws on Phantom and 25 HP cars are in some cases very loose in the thread. The cause is either by over tightening or being tapped out too large. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
