'SS{S. Smith}' CARS.

Replying to PN{Mr Northey}2/WT9.7.29. The car we should recommend for your demonstration is 18-EX which is at WW. I tried this car after our tests on the Wellyn By-pass on Monday, and there is no doubt that this car is much better than either of the cars we have in the Expl: Dept: at the moment.

There would be no difficulty in borrowing this car from R.{Sir Henry Royce} for two or three days. It also has the advantage of being the best looking car and is essentially an owner-drivers car.

We could either get in touch with R.{Sir Henry Royce} to borrow the car or leave it to you, which ever you prefer.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
