RHO.2/MJ.22.2.37.

25/30 HP. CHASSIS FRAMES.

With reference to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}2/MO.17.2.37, we cannot accept Rubery Owens remarks regarding the 25/30 HP. frames, as these points were settled in conference with their Representatives, Mr. Buckley and Mr. Durnin during their visit to our works on the 21st.ult., and the following was agreed upon -

Messrs. Rubery Owen are to send a number of their men to our works for instruction in building and brazing, and when their factory is ready proceed to build six frames under the supervision of our Inspector and with the help of our men. These six frames to be submitted for inspection at our Works and if satisfactory Rubery Owens should proceed to make a further Thirty Frames. This would then enable us to transfer all our jigs and tools to Messrs. Rubery Owens.
