Dear Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ,

Some time ago one of your people wrote to us asking for a copy of our Detroit Laboratory's report on supercharging, but I seem to remember replying to him that it would be some time before this was issued. However, a forerunner to this report has come to hand in the form of a paper which was read at the SAE Meeting in Detroit on March 28th/30th last, and I am enclosing it herewith. Unfortunately I only have two copies of this and should be glad if you could return it to me after you have finished with it, but I am in no hurry and you may make what copies or extracts you wish.

The final report on supercharging, which I gather is a very comprehensive one, will not be ready for a month or so yet. As soon as it is, we shall let you have a copy for your own use.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
Rod Banks
