RE CRANKSHAFTS.
I am attaching herewith copy of a letter received from Mr Nadin, reference Na{Mr Nadin}3/K26718, in response to my cable pointing out that crankshafts shewing any type of flaw would certainly be scrapped and therefore should not be sent. You will notice that Mr Nadin points out that as the shafts were packed and also all the work carried out on them has been paid for, he considered it advisable to send same on for our inspection, as he considers that the defects are different from anything we imagine them to be.
