Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E.BY.PN.{Mr Northey}

I am in receipt of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ.2.3.32 and I am pleased to note that you can carry out the synchromesh gearbox test on 22-EX and thus disassociate it from 19-EX on which various other features were going to be tested.

We agree that this test can be carried out in England.

I presume you will arrange for the customary reports to be sent daily once the 10,000 miles test is started.

I should be glad to know whether a second box is under way which could be put on 19-EX so that we shall be able to get some more experience then with the one box. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
