Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. Rg.{Mr Rowledge} C. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BEARING ALLOYS. The bearing metal described in "Automotive Industries" for Novr. page 640 which is marketed by The Federal Mogul Corporation seems to have possibilities for car work. You will see it is an alloy of copper silver and cadmium. It is of the white metal type, but with a considerably increased hardness. I would suggest getting some ingots and trying out on a Bentley engine on dynamometer. BY.{R.W.
