39-EX. - Steering.

The cross steering tubes of the above chassis have the Wraith centre type ball joint at both ends, whereas the tubes obtained for the job are of a length to suit the Wraith centre joint at the centre of 39-EX and the outer joint at the opposite ends. The result is that the tubes are about 1" too short. We herewith confirm that we suggest and approve cutting the tubes and rejoining by sleeves for the purpose of getting the car running.
