Failure analysis report concluding that cracks originated from drill holes due to a low yield point and repeated bending stress.

H12/EB25.11.19. -2- of 340 and the interior 447. I consider that the failure is due to the soft surface having too,low a Yield Point, so that repeated bending stress has tended to originate cracks from the vicinity of drill holes. HCH. | ||
