Mr. Rowbotham,
Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
Nightingale Road,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Rowbotham,

As you know we have been collaborating with you in connection with Rings made from Silcrome Steel, and the question has arisen as to what should be done with regard to Patents.

The last action we took in the matter was to file a Provisional Specification in our own name, after Mr. Pearson had agreed to this procedure on the phone. We have to decide now what course to take when the Complete Specification becomes due, and whether we should file additional Provisional Specification in your or our names.

There is also another Patent matter in connection with an L shaped ring which we should like if possible to discuss with you.

If it is at all possible for you to pay us a visit here, in the near future, to discuss these matters, it would give us very great pleasure to be able to show you something of our Works, and to entertain you to lunch. If this is not possible, the writer would of course be pleased to come to Derby at any time, although documents would be more easily available here. We should in any case very much appreciate a visit from you.
