RADIATOR DROPPED 4" IN FRAME INCORPORATING THERMOSTATICALLY OPERATED SHUTTERS. Origin. Bottom plate milled away to prevent stones jamming shutters. Experimental Test Report. Fitted to 18-G-IV for tests in France. The scheme is an improvement and should help to prevent shutters jamming by small stones. Gives wider gap between apron and shutters. Road Test Report.
