G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} U. Grylls Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Mr. Grylls: Chassis Greases. Since receiving your letter (ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 4/MH{M. Huckerby}) of the 11th October, I have had the advantage of a chat with our Chairman on the subject. He said: "Grylls has set us a teaser. I doubt if it is possible to reach the 100% perfection for which he asks, but we can go a long way towards it, so get busy and see what we can achieve". We are getting down to the job accordingly. Yours very truly, S. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Bowrey No order will be legally binding on the Company unless on its own official contract note. | ||
