With reference to our telephone conversation this morning when it was suggested we might use the water tank in the yard (capacity very roughly 15,000 gallons) as an auxiliary water supply in case of fire, please note that the water in this tank is used for cooling purposes for rigs etc.. As it is circulated by an electrically driven pump, it would only be necessary to have a fire hose connection fitted to the delivery side of the pump. We should be very grateful if you could give this matter your consideration and, if you agree, have it put in hand. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson} | ||
