Engine Controls to Suit Swinging Arm
Clutch Operation.
Right Hand Senionr Range.

We have always understood that there was a foul somewhere between the swinging arm clutch operation design GCD.1499 and the control scheme ECD.1376 but we have never been certain where it existed. When detailing FCD.1500 simplified brake and clutch pedals for use with GCD.1499 the foul was discovered by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.

By re-arranging the controls on the countershaft on the frame side channel gusset, as shewn on PL.206 (2 prints herewith) we have overcome the difficulty. A measure of cheapening has been achieved by the use of forked rod ends in the place of ball joints.
