Matthews is coming down to Kingsbury on
Monday morning to do some more investigation into cylinder
distortion.

We have been able to borrow from Lagonda a
crankcase, block and head on which to do some tests with their
type of construction in which the long bolts do not pass right
through the block.

Matthews is going to Staines on an Experi-
mental car on its way to Brooklands. Can you arrange to
pick him up at the Lagonda Works at 11.a.m. with a large
enough car to bring the crankcase, etc. to Kingsbury where he
can take the necessary measurements ?
