4516 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW.16.11.34. We are thoroughly dissatisfied with our anti-spill radiator cap. We consider that it is quite useless for hermetically sealing the radiator, because our experience is that it lets water out which is splashed into the top tank. In America we noticed that, due to the leaking of this valve, we lost the anti-freeze alcohol which we put into the system due to evaporation. We should like you to consider this valve in relation to the "Camel" valve which we have tried with success, which we consider is a much more effective seal, and let us have your recommendations in due course.
