Dear Sir,

With reference to your letter of the 9th inst. and other correspondence, we have now heard from our Works and they regret to say that they have not a standard type Rectifying Valve suitable for your purpose. They would, however, be very pleased to make valves for you if you will kindly favour us with one or two particulars, viz :-

Approximate filament volts.
" Maximum anode filament impedence allowable.
Value of peak current required from the filament.

If you will kindly let us have these particulars along, we shall be pleased to go further into the matter. If you are not able to give us these particulars, perhaps you can send us information regarding the G.E.C. U.3. valve, as unfortunately neither we or our Works have any information of this particular product.

Upon receipt of your reply we shall be pleased to go further into the matter.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times.

Yours faithfully,

THE EDISON SWAN ELECTRIC CO.LTD.
