Rolls-Royce Limited, Derby. Dear Sir, I thank you for your letter of the 24th inst in which you enquire about my gearbox. Considerable work has been done on this job but unfortunately there is not a demonstrator available. My movements will be a little uncertain for the next few days but I could call on you some time next week when I can bring full particulars and discuss the matter fully.
