X4118 To Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/CI. from EFC. c. D/BP EFC4/T20.4.25. X.3551. WATFORDR.O.1. MAGNETOS. Reference your Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/CI13/m12.2.25, the R.O.1 Watford magneto No.73324 has now been road tested. In ordinary running it has been found to be O.K. on the car, though on the special thrashing test it was found to be a little weak. This condition has been confirmed by slow speed sparking tests on the bench. We are of the opinion that the magneto should be returned to the makers, and that they be asked if they could see their way to replacing the magnets, if this is, as we think may be the case, what is required. The magneto is returned herewith. EFC. | ||
