R.R. 238 (24 B) (I.L.512. 20.8.12) F.P. 2350. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED INSTRUCTIONS. [STAMP: RECEIVED FEB 1913] Mr Hudin To the Wormald D.O. M Bailey. Order No. Customer's No. We receive from time to time orders for spanners for the ball caps of rear wheels but we have nothing to send. I would suggest that a suitable tool might be included in the standard list of tools, supplied with a new chassis with advantage. For the front wheels, I made a drawing R128 [image of a spanner] of which a number are in use, & I believe, are very convenient. The same principle would not be very good for the rear wheels, on account of the overhang of the brake drum. Mr Spunney. What do you say please? Mr Hudin - I think such a spanner might be supplied with the box spanner suggested by Mr Platford in a bag marked, "For use when overhauling". Need not be carried on the car. R D Spunney Signed HDB This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. Over Mr Mills. Let us get one of these spanners made and sent out | ||
